Development is taking off next to Matrix Group’s Westminster Village Shopping Center. The old Westminster Mall, near Highway 36 and 88th Avenue, is now the future site of a new Downtown Westminster mixed-use development.
With roads and a public parking garage already complete, other projects on the way include an apartment and retail building called Eaton Street Apartments as well as a 5-story residential and retail project called Ascent. After that, the site should continue to see retail, office and residential projects pop up.
Additional transit options should continue to become more accessible in the area with an increased focus on transforming this area into Westminster’s newest hip spot in town.
