Katie Mitchell joined Matrix Group in January 2021 and oversees the operations of the company’s management platform as well as the performance of Matrix’s portfolio of properties. As Vice President, she handle's the portfolio's financing, acquisitions, and dispositions and also oversees the property management, accounting, construction, maintenance, and leasing teams.

Before joining Matrix, Katie managed historic Class A retail and office properties in San Francisco for Jamestown LP and Lincoln Property Company, including playing a key role in the repositioning of Ghirardelli Square, a flagship historic property in the city.

Katie is a licensed real estate broker in both California and Colorado and is an active member of NAIOP and CREW Denver. She also serves as President of the Sunnyside Business Alliance, a coalition of property owners working to pursue rezoning initiatives in Northeast Sunnyside.

Prior to relocating from San Francisco to Denver, Katie took an 11-month sabbatical with her husband, cycling across Europe, backpacking through India, and traveling South America by camper van. Since settling in Colorado, she enjoys trail running, backpacking, and skiing with her husband, daughter, and dog.
